This site serves as a portal for all of the Genealogy Research I do on my families.  Who am I?  I am Crystal Groves. I owe a lot of credit to the following people for their help and research:

Cyndi Reisberg – For giving me TONS of information and her .ged file for the Reisberg family
Cousin Gail – For giving me TONS of information on the Johnson and Black family. We were able to connect as distance relatives through ancestry and rootsweb.
Aunt Maureen and Cousin Cindy – For helping me to compile bits and pieces on the Groves/Reisberg family.

If you’ve come across this site and believe you have some information towards these families, or you yourself are a relative, then feel free to email me! I’ve love to have stories about these relatives posted up on this site, even ones that you may feel are insignificant.

While doing all my research, I’ve noticed some family members are very secretive on their research, not wanting to share it. This portal will serve as the nemesis of that type of ridiculousness. Information on our family history should be available to all, especially for our future generations so they may learn where they come from.

The three images you see in the logo are actual genealogical images for our family. The left image is an old drawing of Wards Chapel Church from the Reisberg side. The second picture is supposedly a picture of the “Indian Grandmother” from the Johnson side. She’s thought to be Anna Jane Black, and cousin Gail remembers playing with the necklace in that picture when she was younger. And the third picture is Grandpa Hugo and Gilbert from the Reisberg family.
